The XAG P100 Pro is an agricultural spray drone made by XAG. When you select it in PulveCast, the app loads the limits below and checks every forecast hour against them, together with Delta T, humidity, drift risk and thermal inversion.

Wind: flight limit and spraying window

A maximum wind resistance of 22 km/h (6.1 m/s, 14 mph) means the XAG P100 Pro can hold its position and route in that wind. It is not a recommendation for spraying: the stronger the wind, the more droplets leave the target, especially fine ones. Most labels and extension guides place the useful spraying window well below the flight limit, and dead calm is also a warning sign of a thermal inversion.

How PulveCast rates the wind for the XAG P100 Pro

  • Green: wind up to 19.8 km/h (90 % of the limit)
  • Yellow: from 19.8 to 22 km/h, close to the limit
  • Red: above 22 km/h, outside what the drone is rated for

The drift card is scored separately, from the wind speed and the droplet class of your nozzle, so an hour can be green for the aircraft and still yellow or red for drift.

Temperature

The XAG P100 Pro is rated to operate from 0 to 40 °C (32 to 104 °F). Outside that range batteries and electronics are outside their specification. Heat also raises Delta T, so on hot afternoons evaporation usually closes the spray window before the drone limit does.

Other conditions to check

  • Delta T between 2 and 8 °C, so droplets neither hang in the air nor evaporate.
  • Thermal inversion: common at dawn and dusk on calm, clear days.
  • Rain before the product becomes rainfast, as stated on the label.
  • Kp index and GNSS satellites for RTK positioning accuracy on the swath.
